My holiday in USA!

My version of Party in USA..
(hehe.. too bored.. tsk tsk!)

In a blink of an eye, 1 month has past..
And whenever I think of my school, I feel like going back.
Thou I'm physically here, my mind is in Singapore.

I hopped off the plane at LAX with a mood of my holiday
Welcome to the land full of joy, whoa am I gotta enjoy?
Jumped in the car, here I am for the second time
Look to my right, and I see the Hollywood sign

This is all so crazy, everybody seems to enjoy
My tummy's turnin' and I'm feelin' kinda homesick
Too much pressure of my school work
That's when I went to the Santa Monica beach

The sunset was beautiful

So I relax myself, with the great scenery

Get to restaurant with my car

So hard with my girls not around me

Day 3 @ Aquarium by the Bay

Aquarium by the Bay was located at Long Beach. Another beautiful beach in LA. Bought the admission ticket together with the sea life cruise. Of coz I'm more excited for the cruise.. Ps, it's super excited! Coz u will get to see the sea lions, dolphins n blue whales in the Pacific Ocean if u are lucky. ;)


Okay, let mi talk about the sea life cruise since it's more interesting. Hee..

Bf was a navy.. Usually when he's back frm his sailing, he'll keep telling mi how the dolphins will sail with them n tht they r friendly creatures.. Blah blah blah~ I've never seen a dolphin in my life. I mean.. not to mention abt Sentosa pink dolphin. But those oceans dolphins where they will swim together with you in the big big ocean. They are just so adorable.. Sad to say that we aren't lucky enough on tht day coz we didn't get to see the whales.. awww, sad!

After 2 hrs of sailing out in the pacific ocean, I started to get sea sick coz the sea is too choppy.

Day 2 @ Universal Studio Hollywood

Woke up early in the morning hoping to avoid the afternoon crowd at the Studio. Grab our breakfast at Mac before heading there.. abt half an hr of journey from our hotel.

I seldom hv Mac for breakfast in spore.
But i hearts their bacon, egg n cheese biscuit!
(It's time to change ur breakfast menu)


omg.. $14 for a parking. Geez!
(I can have 2 meals in Singapore.. *evil grins*)

By the time when we are inside, it's alrdy 11am! The studio opens at 10. We are lucky enough that there aren't alot of ppl on that day coz it's weekday I guess. Queuing time is abt 10 mins or less. Have yet to go to the one in Singapore so it's very hard for me to compare. Mayb other day when all the rides are up.

The one which I like most is the studio tour. Yeap, the tram will bring you to behind-the-scenes of the making of the movie where along the way u'll get to see all the props and building from many of the famous movies. Now den I realized tht some of the buildings or houses in the movies are fake. It's just the outer-layer tht looks so much like a real building but the inside are all blank ones, but not all. Hmm..

The most exciting n felt so real experience was when the tram went in to a sound stage which look like a San Fran subway station and then there was an earthquake inside. Everything was so real.. burning gasoline truck that collapses through the roof, fire and spark effects, and a flood of water. It felt as thou like I'm in the movie. Hehe..

Los Angeles, California - Day 1

Touchdown LAX airport @ around 10pm on 1st Jun. Same as before, had the worst experience in the airport & tht's the last thing which I would ever wish for. Trying to manage jet lag for the 1st few nites.. I rmb sometimes I even wake up as early as 4, 5 plus in the morning. Geez! For the weather wise, it's cold during the morning & nite although it's summer now.. sometimes even lower than 20 degree. (kinda miss the weather there.. hehe)

Didn't went as planned.. We planned to go Universal Studio on the 1st day but thinking tht we'll be very tired after 20 over hours of flight plus the jet lag.. So in the end we decided to do something more relaxing instead. hehe.. went to quite a number of places..

Head over to Farmers Market in the afternoon for lunch. A place where u can get lot of fresh groceries.. but we didn't bought anything in the market coz there's no stove in the hotel for us to cook! hehe..


After which we walk over the The Grove, which is just beside Farmers Market for some shoppingggg. Didn't really buy anything there coz I'm saving for the factory outlet. hehe.. only bought a roxy tee for 5 bucks.. dirt cheap!


Drove uphill to Griffith Observatory in the late afternoon. Yeah, again.. the 2nd time! Last time we went there was during the nite. So this time round we are able to see their exhibit & explore around the building. Thou we are under the hot sun but it's very very windy up there. Love the scenery.. u could see the whole city of hollywood!




of coz.. not forgetting to snap a pic with the hollywood sign! hehe..


Last destination for the day.. Santa Monica pier! Beautiful beach with such a lovely sunset, what else can I say. The best sunset I ever seen. But it's freezinggg cold out there.. I wore like 2 jackets?! tht's not even enough for me to keep myself warm okay.

Goodday peeps!

It's 11 in the morning here. I'm 15 hrs behind Singapore time. Hehe.. Am trying out Blog Writer, lite by iphone. Functions are very very limited only, so I can't do anything else here. :( wanted to post all my pics in FB but i'm just too lazy to do it. Partly it's not me to be blame okay. Coz everything is Mac here u see. And i'm a Mac idiot. I'm not used to using apple la, thou my nickname is "apple". Alrite, i'm just joking. Lol. But seriously I still prefer Microsoft lo.. too used to it! Promise i'll update as soon as i've done "exploring" how to use Mac..

I'm still awake at this very hour, 5 mins to 5! Just finish packing my luggage frm 1 till now. Yeah, very last minute! mummy is still awake, guess she's more excited den mi. Hehe. Bf is also awake too! But i'm gg to doze off any moment. Mixed feelings, how to enjoy u tell mi!

12 more hrs frm now and i'll be getting ready to set off.. will update soon.
